Affordable Cheap Electric Scooters

Everyone is struggling in today's economy and gas prices are rising again. One solution to this dilemma is to purchase a more fuel efficient vehicle. Electric scooters are a more cost efficient way of getting around and also can be purchased for a reasonable price. If your looking for a cheap electric scooter, you may want to look on Amazon or on EBay. They have many electric scooters and they are pretty reasonably priced. On EBay, of course, you have to watch the scooter that your interested in and bid. If you don't have the time for this Amazon may be the best choice for you because you can just buy the scooter now.

Amazon.com is currently listing about four different types of electric scooters. These scooters are definitely on the cheap side because they look more for fun rather than for transportation purposes. There are three different Razor scooters; the E200S seated scooter, the E100 electric scooter for $158.48, and the E200S seated scooter for $206.99 (used) or $215.42 (new). They also have a Currie Technologies e-zip E750 Electric Scooter for 369.00 (used) or $379.00 (new). If your looking for a smaller, cheap electric scooter any one of these scooters looks like a good deal.

On eBay.com the electric scooters I found are definitely nicer and have more power. Currently the bids on these scooters are very low but they still have at least 2 days left for people to bid. These bikes are all out of Canada and are Giovanni Electric Scooters. They look like the type you would buy for transportation purposes. I did find 2 scooters out of the USA that are Xtreme Electric 3000 Watt Mopeds the bids for these bikes are already over $500 so your definitely going to pay more for this type of electric scooter bike.

If your looking for a cheaper electric scooter, I would recommend Amazon over EBay. They seem to have smaller scooters that you can purchase now, at a reasonable price. Also, there is not much difference in price over the new bikes than the used ones. If your looking for a cheap electric motor with ev conversion ehow.com may be a site you want to look at. EBay also has nicer scooters with more power but you'll probably pay more for this type of scooter than the other. So, if price is a defining factor Amazon may be your best bet.

Well you know what they say… a penny save is a penny taxed. I reallt ticks me off that we get gouged by various government agencies every time we have to buy something. Who can afford all the extra taxes and such, especially in this crappy economy.

That's right. Also, if you buy one in the state you live - at least a new one - you will end up having to pay sales tax, which probably as much money as shipping and handling charges. Sometimes you can't win.

And if you cruise on over to Amazon they will have some of these things as well. The only thing that you have to watch about these online purchases is that you don't get soaked for shipping and handling charges. They can be quite expensive.
